Diwali Food Drive

SEWA DIWALI FOOD DRIVE

Every year during the festive season of Diwali, Sewa International works with partner organizations and the community to provide food to local communities in need.

Each chapter independently organizes a local program in which non-perishable food items are collected and donated to a homeless shelter or food bank; or volunteers cook fresh vegetarian food and distribute them to those in need.

These Diwali Food Drives have been a great success and we look forward to continuing this initiative in the coming years.

We encourage you to join us in this effort to combat hunger in our communities. To organize a food drive in your community, please visit this page: http://sewausa.org/DiwaliFoodDriveHowTo

You may participate as individuals, or partner with us through your group or organization. In lieu of food, you may also organize a drive to collect clothing or other useful items that may benefit your target communities.

We know that the hunger problem cannot be solved in a day but you can certainly make a difference by participating in Diwali Food Drive!

This Year Celebrate Diwali by sharing food with the Needy.

Light a Lamp of Kindness & Generosity and share the Festivity.

Give some thing back to the community and make a difference.
