Diwali food drive by Sewa International in the twin cities of Bloomington/Normal, IL with active participation from the Indian community has been the permanent stay in the year’s calendar, now for around half a decade. This year is no exception to that tradition. Diwali food drive 2009 is already underway. Non-perishable Food collection has been scheduled during following dates at differebt locations.

Food Collection Dates: September 19th to October 19th 2009.
Location : Bloomington

Collected food at Bloomington will then be distributed to 6 charities on October 24 & 25, 2009 that we have identified. We invite all in the community to actively participate and extend their support to make this program of “GIVING” an un-paralleled success.

Fourth annual Food collection drive on the auspicious occasion of Diwali - Festival of Lights.
Our community volunteers will deliver collected food to the following charities/organizations on Diwali weekend.
