Microsoft Give Campaign
Sewa International (USA) manages projects in India and the US. Sewa International is an umbrella for 45,000 projects and programs all over India, 80 types of activities and has more than 150,000 volunteers involved in running these programs and projects. With the support of NGOs with over 25 years of experience and the capability to develop volunteers from the local population has enabled Sewa International to sponsor and uphold a variety of activities all around the world, the majority of which are community based including healthcare, education, child welfare, and relief and rehabilitation for disaster victims. Sewa USA helps people regardless of caste, class, creed, color or religion.
As a part of the Microsoft Give Campaign 2009, Sewa International encourages donations towards two projects in India: Arogya Rakshak, a project that aims to spread healthcare to the rural parts of India through training local volunteers and Aruna Chetana, a school for children with multiple disabilities in Bangalore, Karnataka.
All donations to Sewa International are tax-deductable. Contributions go directly to the project NGO that will distribute funds appropriately. Project Reports on the developments of Arogya Rakshak and Aruna Chetana will be available for donors to see how their contributions the respective project. Every contribution goes a long way!
