Our Activities - New York Metro Chapter

Our activities can be broadly classified into two categories:

  1. Fundraising for worthy causes.
  2. Taking part in local (in the US) community service projects like Publicolor, Adopt a Highway, Provide food to local shelters, Meals On Wheels, Community Parks’ Cleanup etc.

Cause  - Vidyadaan

Sports For Sewa - Cricket, Volleyball

Every summer, in June, we conduct our annual hard tennis ball tournament. Our 2011 tournament was a huge success with 300 players, 3 days of games and 430 Vidyadaan beneficiaries. And in 2012, we had 400 players, 2 full days of games. Every year, the funds raised are used to sustain the recurring annual educational expenses of the children.
