Our Activities

[Biweekly] Book Reading & Discussion

We conduct book reading sessions twice a month. The goal of this activity is to nurture the concept of selfless service in our team members and volunteers.

Currently we are reading Karma Yoga by Swami Vivekananda.

We have read the Bhagavad Gita in our book reading sessions in the past.

The Bhagavad Gita (translates as the Song of the Lord) is a philosophical dialogue between Krishna (the Lord) and Arjuna (the disciple).

The Bhagavad Gita explains the concept of Dharma (the duty of an individual) and Seva (selfless service) and tells that by fulfilling one's Dharma and by doing Seva one can achieve self-realization and find bliss.

[Quarterly] Local Community Service

Once every quarter we organize a local community volunteering event. Our team members rally other volunteers in the community to participate in the local community service projects like the food bank, habitat for humanity etc.

Please check out our upcoming and past community volunteering efforts.
