2008 YFS Fellows

Rajiv Ramdeo is a student of Biological Science at UC Irvine. He volunteered at Children Cancer Hospital in Bangalore, Karnataka for more than two months.

Shikta Sapkota was a student of Florida State University majoring in International Affairs. She is originally from Nepal. For 2 ½ months, she volunteered at Nele (Children’s Shelter) and other projects in Bangalore, Karnataka.

Katlyn Kerrigan graduated from Cal. Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo with degree in Social Science. She is volunteering at Nele (Children’s Shelter) and other projects in Bangalore. Prior to YFS, katlyn worked on a project in Ghana.

Dwijavanthi Kumar is a graduate of University of Iowa with degree in Biomedical Engineering. She is volunteering at Kidwai Cancer Institute working with Breast Cancer patients and with mobile medical clinic to help initiate health education program in Bangalore.
