COLOMBIA LANDSLIDE LEAVES MORE THEN 250 DEAD

Flooding and mudslides in the Colombian city of Mocoa sent torrents of water and debris crashing onto houses in the early hours of Saturday morning, killing 254 people, injuring over 400 and sending residents to evacuate. More than 200 people are missing at the moment.

Sewa International is working with its sister organization ICCS US and local volunteer groups in Colombia, in the rescue and relief efforts such as: -Helping people move to safe areas. -Providing first aid, food and shelter to the victims. -Pulling corpses out of debris. Over 40 Yanakuna indigenous families lost their homes and all their belongings. The situation is the same for all 17 regions affected.

Any donations are welcome to support our South American neighbors.
