Nags Rajaram
Nags Rajaram Nags Rajaram ji is a seasoned project management professional with nearly 30 years of experience. A committed Karya Karta with HSS since 2014, he joined Sewa fulltime in 2021 to support Covid Sewa during a critical time for the community. Since early 2026, Nag ji has been serving as the Chapter Coordinator for Sewa Chicago. He is deeply dedicated to nurturing and empowering youth, helping them grow into compassionate, service-minded community leaders. With his steady guidance, vision, and commitment to Sewa's mission, Nags continues to strengthen the Chicago Chapter and lead it toward its next phase of growth and impact. |
Nitish Shah
Nitish Shah Nitish ji is deeply passionate about Sewa's mission and finds purpose in serving the community with compassion, kindness, and humility. He previously led the Design to Lead (DTL) program and now coordinates the Sewa Serve initiatives, supporting chapter activities with dedication, organization, and a continuous-improvement mindset. He holds a master's degree in computer science and brings 42 years of experience in technical architecture and technology leadership, specializing in ERP modernization and data-driven business transformation. |
Sushma Shah
Sushma Shah Sushma ji leads Family Services initiatives, including Senior Sewa and Educational Workshops, with warmth, empathy, and a strong commitment to community well-being. She actively supports chapter activities with organization, consistency, and a continuous-improvement mindset. She brings 37 years of experience in Operations and Program leadership, with expertise in business transformation and stakeholder collaboration. Sushma holds a master’s degree in information systems and a bachelor's degree in Biochemistry. She is happily married and a proud mother of two children. |
Deepak Shah
Deepak Shah Deepak ji brings over 35 years of experience in plastics engineering, specializing in R&D and innovation, with several U.S. and international patents to his name. With Sewa for the past three years, he leads the plastic bag recycling drive under the 9/11 Serve Program, promoting sustainability and environmental stewardship. He also contributes to mentoring, food drives, and various chapter initiatives wherever needed. |

Nagesh Rai Nagesh ji is a Chicago-area technology architect and a strong believer in community-first living. For the past five years, he has been an active core team member of Sewa Chicago, contributing to the Sewa LEAD program, environmental initiatives under the 9/11 Day of Service, and annual fundraising efforts. He is also the co-founder of HUM (Help-Unite-Motivate), a nonprofit supporting the homeless, seniors, and children with special needs. Nagesh embodies the true spirit of Sewa Parmo Dharma. |
Aparna Rai
Aparna Rai Aparna ji is a Chicago-area technology professional, nonprofit leader, and media entrepreneur. A dedicated volunteer for over five years, she contributes to the Sewa LEAD program and multiple chapter initiatives. She serves as President of HUM (Help Unite Motivate), supporting individuals experiencing homelessness, senior citizens, and children with special needs. Aparna is also the founder of A3N Media, a platform focused on uplifting community stories. Her work across technology, nonprofit leadership, and media reflects her commitment to meaningful community impact. |
Vikash Jain
Vikash Jain Vikash ji joined Sewa in 2021 as a LEAD parent and has truly enjoyed serving the community ever since. He supports and coordinates the Sewa LEAD youth program, helping students grow through service, leadership, and hands-on community engagement. Known for stepping in wherever needed, he ensures smooth execution of events and strengthens chapter operations with reliability, organization, and a service-driven mindset. |
Parul Parekh
Parul Parekh Parul ji has been an active Sewa volunteer for the past two years, supporting numerous events with sincerity and dedication. She serves as the annual Garba Event Coordinator, bringing her calm leadership and dependable presence to one of Sewa Chicago's largest cultural programs. Humble and always willing to step in wherever needed, Parul is known for her readiness to help and her warm hospitality, often hosting visiting Sewa members from out of town with genuine care. |

Hiren Shah
Hiren Shah Hiren ji is a software engineer by profession and has been a dedicated Sewa volunteer for nearly ten years. He coordinates the annual Garba program and actively supports Aspire and other chapter initiatives with steady commitment and a collaborative spirit. His wife is a physician, and they are proud parents of two children, both working in the technology field.
