Dr. Rupesh Raina (Advisory Board Member) ![]() Dr. Rupesh Raina (Advisory Board Member) Dr. Rupesh Raina completed his medical degree from The King George Medical College, Lucknow. He then joined research fellowship in department of urology at Glickman Urological and Kidney Institute at Cleveland Clinic Foundation. Seeking clinical experience with an interest in disease management of both children and adults, he completed a combined internal medicine and pediatrics program at Metrohealth Medical Center at Case School of Medicine. After residency, he embarked on a combined medicine and pediatric nephrology fellowship with special interest in transition and continuity of nephrology care from childhood to adulthood. He completed his Nephrology and Hypertension Fellowship Program from Department of Nephrology and Hypertension Glickman Urological & Kidney Institute in 2011.He further pursued Pediatric Nephrology Fellowship at Rainbow Babies & Children’s Hospital, University Hospitals and at Case School of Medicine (2011-14). Dr. Rupesh Raina is Adult-Pediatric Kidney Disease/Hypertension Nephrologist, at Akron Children's Hospital and Akron Nephrology Associates at Akron General Medical Center an Affiliate of Cleveland Clinic Foundation. Dr. Raina practice includes care of patients with disorders of the kidney including chronic kidney disease, nephrotic syndrome, glomerulonephritis, tubular disorders, cystic kidney disease, kidney malformations, kidney stones and hypertension. He also and provides medical supervision of dialysis treatments, plasma exchange and kidney transplantation in adults and childrens. Dr. Raina’s clinical research interest includes transition of adolescent with chronic renal diseases to adulthood care, renal replacement therapies in acute renal failure, bone marrow transplant and inherited metabolic diseases. Basic science research includes but not limited to identify non-invasive biomarkers (urine endothelin (ET-1) and others) to predict ADPKD disease progression. |

Dr. Hira Fotedar is the ex-President, Sewa International, Cleveland where he has volunteered since 2008. He is the owner of Fotedar Associates LLC. He joined Eaton as manager, product engineering, in the automotive group and rose to various corporate leadership positions in product design and development, manufacturing, quality assurance, operational and business excellence. He retired as Vice President Corporate Quality and Operational Excellence, Eaton Corporation where he served as Chief Quality Officer.

As a Cost & Management Accountant, he had held leadership roles for various companies in India.

Dr.Reema Gulati, M.D. is Director of Pediatric Gastroenterology at MetroHealth Medical Center and Assistant Professor of Pediatrics at Case School of Medicine. She graduated from Maulana Azad Medical College/University of Delhi where she received her M.B.B.S. with honors in physiology. She completed her Pediatric residency at MetroHealth where she received ‘End of Year Exam’ awards for academic excellence. Thereafter, she completed a fellowship in Pediatric Gastroenterology at Cleveland Clinic. She is board certified in Pediatric Gastroenterology and specializes in treatment of gastrointestinal, liver and nutritional diseases in children.
In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Gulati is an ardent researcher and a champion of wholesome community health. Her special interests are in: - childhood fatty liver disease; health literacy; and health disparities in marginalized populations. She authors a monthly column MetroHealthy in a community newspaper. An eloquent orator, she has been invited as an expert speaker at prestigious city events like Mayor Frank Jacksons ‘Back to School’ fair, City Hall, Cuyahoga County Public Library, Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation’s ‘Ask the Expert’, Plain Dealer, and television like Channel 5 and Fox 8. She regularly publishes original research in peer-reviewed medical journals and has contributed in writing book chapters.
Dr. Gulati has received awards and scholarships like ‘Chairman’s Award for Clinical Excellence’, ‘Poster of Distinction’ at scientific meetings, CaseCAN Faculty Scholarship- a workforce development program funded by the Ohio Department of Medicaid (MedTAPP) She completed Case’s FLEX professional development program for women faculty of school of medicine and currently serves as a passionate mentor to other women faculty, medical residents and students at Case.
