Bill of Responsibilities Summit (BoRS) This is an Initiative to bring together California leaders such as Elected Officials, civil society representatives, community leaders and other non-profit organizations to discuss and formulate actionable strategies to address critical issues of homelessness, food security, health security, right to education, and disaster relief. The proposed summit aims to generate a sense of shared responsibility among stakeholders and collaborate on effective solutions that prioritize the well-being of individuals and communities. VOLUNTEERING
The Sewa International, Bay Area, CA Chapter invites enthusiastic individuals to come forward and help us in our initiatives. Enroll yourself as a volunteer.
Upon enrollment as a volunteer, you will be included in the Sewa Bay Area Volunteers Email Group and WhatsApp Group. This will ensure that you receive regular updates regarding chapter events, activities, and volunteering opportunities.
Projects
The Bay Area chapter of Sewa International initiated the ASPIRE After-School program in 2019 in order to reduce gaps in education for students in the Ravenswood City School District in East Palo Alto.
Sewa International Health and Wellness team has made it their mission to remind us of all the importance of self-care and maintaining a healthy lifestyle.
Sewa Bay Area LEAD 2024-2025 Youth Engagement program registration is now open. Through this program, high school students interact with community leaders and successful professionals through engaging symposiums, field visits and hand-on volunteer activity in the local community.
Americorps Mental Health Program
Sewa International is currently looking for prospective members to join their mental health program that will be launched with funding from AmeriCorps.
