ASPIRE (Achieving Student Progress, Instilling Resilience, and Excellence) is a comprehensive intervention and enrichment program designed for students in kindergarten through sixth grade, with a focus on children from underserved and immigrant communities.

ASPIRE provides targeted academic and personal support to help students build skills, confidence, and a strong foundation for future success. Through tutoring, mentoring, and enrichment activities, the program addresses not only academic needs but also barriers related to access, language, and opportunity.

At its core, ASPIRE provides support in Math, English Language Arts (ELA), STEM and enrichment, working closely with school districts, teachers, and trained volunteers. Programs are offered during the school day and after school to provide students with consistent, meaningful support.

• Boost Academic Performance: Strengthen foundational skills in Math and ELA while supporting English proficiency.
• Build Resilience & Confidence: Develop life skills, creativity, teamwork, and social confidence through activities such as Gardening, Drama, Art, Robotics and other enrichment programs.
• Encourage a Love for Learning: Create engaging and enjoyable educational experiences that inspire curiosity, participation, and a lifelong interest in learning.

Our Impact in California Bay Area

Since its inception in 2019, ASPIRE has grown from a pilot program at Costano Elementary School in East Palo Alto, developed in partnership with the Ravenswood City School District, into a growing educational support program serving communities across the Bay Area.

Today, the California ASPIRE program serves more than 1,000 students across six schools in two school districts—the Newark Unified School District and Livermore Valley Joint Unified School District.

Funding from AmeriCorps in 2023–24 helped accelerate the program's growth, while continued support from generous donors and community partners has enabled ASPIRE to sustain and expand its reach.

As we look ahead, we are actively working toward expanding into Santa Clara County and bringing ASPIRE to more schools and students across the Bay Area.

Our goal remains simple: to help every student learn, grow, and realize their full potential.
