Volunteer Development: Serve Houston |
Serve Houston is Sewa International's monthly volunteering event ,where young teenagers and families from the Houston community go out and volunteer with other local nonprofits. Our team was recognized with the Jefferson Award for Service and our volunteers have won several awards like Volunteer Houston in 2015, Hindu Youth Award in 2013 and President's Service Award.In past we have volunteered with organizations like

Houston Food Bank
Children's Museum
Rowdy Girl Sanctuary
Earth Day Houston

Most of the projects at the warehouse involve inspection, sorting, and repackaging of donated food items for community distribution.
Diwali Food Drive
Please help us collect non perishable food like canned food, peanut butter, rice etc. Drop off locations can be found on Houston food banks website and you can drop off at the Sewa office in designated boxes. Please donate and dont forget to register your donations on the signup sheet below
