Monthly Bhutanese Empowerment Project in DC Area

About 1500 Bhutanese refugees are living in Baltimore area for last 10 years. One new family continues to join every month. They went through lot of hardships that include discrimination and neglect. They continue to survive with minimum support from the government and require help in getting to the main stream without losing their cultural identity.
Sewa International has been working relentlessly for last many years at different locations across USA for their empowerment. On April 27th, Saturday, Sewa is kickstarting monthly Bhutanese Empowerment Project for at Shiva Vishnu Temple from 10:00-2:00 PM.

- Tutoring kids (Math and English)
- Spoken English
- Career guidance
