Sewa Central NJ Chapter Fund Raising Campaign

The economic impact of the COVID-19 is projected to be extremely severe - something that will be comparable, or even worse than the Great Depression of 1930s. 

Number of people especially lower income bracket will be severely affected by this pandemic and the financial impact. In New Jersey alone, almost 500000 children rely on the schools for one single square meal a day. School, Administration, Soup Kitchens are doing their best to support but is not sufficient and they are facing severe shortage. Can we afford to see a hungry child ? NO. 

  

This is the time we all standup for the starving kids and families in our community 

*Current Need:*

We need to enable the food pantries and soup kitchens who serve our communities . This will help them to have necessary resources both to keep their staff equipped and to provide food to meet rising demand . Due to restrictions on social distancing its almost impossible currently to go and buy the food. Hence the best option is to provide the support by collecting the funds through on Online campaign. 

The beneficiaries of this fundraiser will be, but not limited to the North Brunswick food pantry, South Brunswick food pantry, Elijah’s kitchen, McFoods (Middlesex County Food Pantry) etc. Monroe , Franklin Township , Jersey city , North Brunswick, Woodbridge etc

The funds you donate will be tax deductible and a receipt will be issued by Facebook ! The proceeds from Facebook camping will be going to Sewa International ( a 501c3 not-for- profit org) and further the entire anoint will be sent to all the beneficiary soup kitchens and pantries.
