Youth for Sewa is hosting a community-wide Garage Sale where individuals bring in materials/items from home that they no longer need; for example, these donations can include clothes, books, tools, backpacks/bags, furniture, electronics, sports supplies, etc. The items can be delivered over the course of one month from August 27th to October 15th to one of the three following addresses: 13516 Heathrow Ln (Centreville), 13429 Marble Rock Dr (Chantilly), or 42838 Glyndebourne Ct (Ashburn). For those seeking volunteer hours, every three items donated will result in 1 volunteer hour. Please text 571-424-0467 or 571-525-6302 before dropping off any materials!
Once all the items are collected, Youth for Sewa will sell these materials back to the community at reduced prices on October 21 (DATE UPDATED, location TBD) and donate the earnings back to Sewa DC to keep supporting our youth programs and community initiatives.
