You are aware that over the last few days, India has seen a steep increase in COVID-positive cases. As of April 28, it is estimated that some 18 million have tested positive, and the total COVID related death count is around 200,000. It is estimated that 300 million Indians may have been affected. Demand for oxygen has risen more than 20% nationally and many hospitals are facing acute shortage of oxygen as well as some lifesaving medical equipment.

Sewa International have started ‘Help India Defeat COVID-19’ Campaign and is seeking your support. We are raising funds for buying supplies, and ensuring that the much-needed lifesaving medical equipment like oxygen-concentrators and ventilators are acquired and shipped to hospitals across India. Currently Oxygen Concentrators and equipment of over $1.5 million are on their way to India. We seek to raise $10 Million to acquire more units and send to India urgently. Sewa leadership team and volunteers are working with our volunteer network in India around the clock in this effort.
